Payment Policy

Article 1 — Scope and Accepted Methods

1.1This Payment Policy describes all accepted payment methods and billing practices of Luxuriad LLC for its construction, design-build, development, sitework, and related services. Specific payment schedules, deposits, and retainage are governed by your signed contract, which controls over this Policy.

1.2We accept payment by ACH bank transfer, check, and major credit or debit cards through Stripe, our secure third-party payment processor. Invoices are issued electronically and include project reference, scope description, total amount due, due date, and accepted payment options for your convenience.

Article 2 — Deposits and Progress Payments

2.1Projects typically require a deposit upon signing, followed by progress payments tied to defined milestones or completed work, with final payment due upon substantial completion. Residential deposits are handled in accordance with New York General Business Law Article 36-A and Lien Law Section 71-a.

2.2Card payments may be subject to a surcharge disclosed on your invoice before payment, as permitted under New York General Business Law Section 518, not exceeding actual processing cost. ACH and check payments carry no surcharge. Please make checks payable to Luxuriad LLC unless instructed otherwise.

Article 3 — Late Payments and Collection

3.1Invoices are due upon receipt unless your contract provides otherwise. All past-due balances may accrue interest at a rate stated in your contract, not exceeding maximum permitted by law. Luxuriad LLC may suspend work on any project with overdue balances after providing written notice to our client.

3.2Luxuriad LLC reserves all rights under New York Lien Law, including filing a mechanic's lien, to secure full payment for labor, materials, and services furnished to or for your property. Returned checks and reversed payments may incur a service fee as permitted by law, plus any related bank charges.

3.3Card disputes or chargebacks opened without first contacting us will be contested with supporting contract and project documentation. Article 4 — Payment Security

4.1Card information is entered directly into Stripe's secure, PCI DSS compliant platform. Luxuriad LLC does not store full card numbers on its own servers. We will never request card details by text message or unsolicited email; contact our office directly if you receive any suspicious payment request.
